OK so it’s been a tad slow with the lunch of the website
company I work for approaching rapidly so I’m essentially working from 9 until
8 now with a half hour brake, I don’t mind it but I do wish I could work more
on art stuff rather than setting up peoples and company’s portfolios for them.
Anyway back to the topic, but the Cupboard into the normal
dDo presets and it seems to look pretty good, so I’m happy with it. I think of
Quixel should add anything to the new dDo it should be better control over the
UI to get to the settings of adding detail. At the moment the normal dDo seems
to have better access to add detail in arias where I want them while the new
dDo just uses a pre made texture on them and gives more pre-sets to add to them
and tells the user to hop on to the next one. Results are OK with it but I think
there a lack of features in terms of adding detail like rust and leakages and
scratches. It is still in Beta, so I expect more to come, but I hope there is
more to come rather than just bug fixes.
Here are the recent screenshots. I’ll be putting it into UDK
at some point when I have more objects to place with it as I feel that when
there all in one place they will complement each other.
