started gray-boxing modelling as I realized it was important to modular everything before putting them together in a scene.
Hear is the progress so far.
So far I need to change some of the scaling of the objects, mainly the flooring as I would like to have it in a more smoother way. The Pillers should ideally be in between the new floor tiles so that they can then change on corners more smoothly rather than having to create new objects in order to change the direction more smoothly. this shouldent be a major problem, however I'am trying to keep the walkway to an expectable size as the walkway can seem extrimaly small.

Updated progress
While modelling a basic traditional pillar I came to the realization that I needed to make an asset plane so that I can confidently model the moulder assets I need.
The pillar is designed to be modular, so I can use it in different ways without having to create a new version of the pillar for different buildings (for example the temple).
This is the sketch I am doing so far for the planning of creating modular components, note that this is liable to change as I add more small plans for these components.
This are the modular mood-board that i am using as reference for creating these components.
While these are in UDK, the modular components still apply to Unity.
These are the mood-boards that I have been using for the whole project so far.
This one is for more of the outside style rather than the exact layout of the aria I plan on modelling.
This mood-board is more for the layout, however I ended up concentrating on the lower right corner of the mood-board as it had architecture specifics which needed to be taken heavily into account when designing Chinese traditional planning.
This is also another sketch for a very basic idea as to how I want my scene to look. it also has the basic explanation on the Yin and Yan theory of Chinese architecture.
